PanTerra is a diversified junior public oil and gas company listed on the TSXV (PRC.V) with holdings in both conventional and unconventional projects in Western Canada. The Company has an operated production base of 115 BOPD and 100 Mcf/d gas with excellent optimization and exploitation potential. PanTerra has 26,831,591 shares outstanding, 32,963,006 fully diluted (yielding $2MM in additional capital) cash in the bank, absolutely no debt and approximately $16.7 Million of tax pools.
PanTerra’s strategy is to focus on its oil producing projects with expandability and sustainability. The Company will maintain a high working interest and operatorship where possible. PanTerra plans to grow via the ‘drill bit’ and continue to acquire producing properties more heavily weighted towards oil.
PanTerra’s current conventional oil producing properties are located at Carrot Creek and Tomahawk in west central Alberta. The company also has two minor gas producing properties at Gadsby and Kirkpatrick Lake in central Alberta.
The Company has been actively involved in an extensive re-evaluation and optimization of its 100% controlled oil properties at Tomahawk and Carrot Creek, Alberta. PanTerra’s new focus on oil exploitation includes immediate well re-activations, re-entries and water-flood development at its Carrot Creek property. Recent activity at Carrot Creek has produced very positive results which are outlined in a May 24, 2011 press release. At Tomahawk, development wells are planned for 2011 plus the Company has recently received a license to drill a step-out well which it hopes to commence shortly after spring break-up.
PanTerra is also seeking partners to continue to explore and develop its Saskatchewan based shale gas acreage. PanTerra previously acquired a vast land position in Saskatchewan. Extensive drilling and geotechnical analyses have defined a huge ‘Shale Gas Resource’. The company has now high graded its Saskatchewan land base as the five year primary term of the three Exploration Permits has expired. The company now holds nearly 100,000 acres under a five year lease of which the first two years of mineral rentals have been pre-paid with previous work commitments.
Deeper exploratory Mississippian (Bakken) and Devonian (Winnipegosis / Ratner) oil potential underlies the Shale Gas Resource and the company will exploit this potential in the near future either on its own or with partners.
